Rivers Rest Kennel, a family breeding program nestled along the Delaware River in the Catskill mountains of New York, strives to produce the most true to the breed standard, both show nad performance, possible in Miniature Australian Shepherds. All of our dogs are shown in conformation and compete in one or more performance events.
Our dogs and puppies do not spend their days in a kennel. As integral parts of our family life, our dogs can be found playing, hiking, posing as models, romping in the river, training, competing at dog events or sharing the couch, living room or kitchen with us. Our full size basement is a dog training / exercise facility designed for the benefit of our four legged family!
